1. Services Offered
Beyond Notary Services provides general notary public services in compliance with Connecticut state laws. This includes the notarization of documents and associated travel for mobile notary services.
2. Fees and Payments
- Notarization Fee: $5 per notarization as per Connecticut law.
- Travel Fees: $25 flat fee for travel within 10 miles of our base location and $1 for each additional mile.
- Payments must be made at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- All fees are non-refundable once services are rendered.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must present valid, government-issued photo identification for all notarizations.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring documents are complete and ready for notarization prior to the appointment.
- Beyond Notary Services is not responsible for the legal content or completeness of the documents being notarized.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice without penalty.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $25 cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged the full travel fee.
5. Limitation of Liability
- Beyond Notary Services is not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from errors or omissions in documents provided by the customer.
- Notaries do not provide legal advice or act as legal representatives. For legal guidance, consult a licensed attorney.
6. Copyright and Intellectual Property
- All content on the Beyond Notary Services website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Beyond Notary Services and is protected by copyright laws.
- Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is prohibited.
7. Prohibited Behavior
Customers agree not to:
- Engage in unlawful activities during interactions with Beyond Notary Services.
- Use hate speech, harassment, or bullying towards staff.
- Submit fraudulent or altered documents for notarization.
